The national average cost of running Christmas lights in 2022 was $16.48. The cost in Oregon was $11.75. The best way to get to most out of your lights and cut down on cost, is to upgrade to brighter LED bulbs which are 10x more energy efficient than incandescent lights.

I spent 25 years on ladders around the Northwest before Saint Nick's was ever a company, and I've been designing and installing custom holiday lighting in the Portland area ever since. I write these guides myself. No fluff, just what I'd tell you standing in your driveway.
